For the love of rainbows//a photoshoot

Image
and yes the rainbow was not edited onto her :-) Sup peeps! I took these pictures a while ago when I was testing out another photo hack. In an upcoming post I'll tell you how I created the rainbows-no editing required! Plus, there'll be some more rainbow pictures. :) The other effects were made by a simple window shade. NOTE: I feel repetitive saying this, and I'm not trying to boast or anything, but I didn't edit any of these. (except one for flyaways) I just feel like half the magic of these rainbows is that they aren't edited. :) Let's just start... also can i just say how much i LOVE ashtyn with bangs? and in this outfit? and with her hair up? XDD And now: Some extra pictures of Julie! She saw me photographing Ashtyn and begged-yes begged-to have some taken of her. I quote: "But rainbows and slanted light is just so groovy !" ahhhh! i love you i love you i love you... Thanks a million for r

COLLAB with awesomeness // expanding on the Mini Kit BFF friendship

Image
Whew, that title was a mouthful! (but wait I didn't like say it out-loud...now I'm just confused 😉 )  A  very special blogging buddy  and I teamed up to bring you...well, the title kinda says it. I'll still explain, though. :) p.s. (the blogging buddy is....KATIE! Whoop whoop!!!)  A while ago we  collaborated  in the same theme of Mini Kit besties.  Katie  took the cake-her mini was just soooo cute! This time, we both took pictures of our Kits (Kit's? Kits'?) in five different categories. What are the categories? Read on to find out! #1.Flowers I love this flower... #2.Sisters  I got this effect by putting my dolls on a glass covered wooden table. :) I'm surprised how well it turned out! #3.4th of July For those of you wondering, it's a little balloon. :)  Wait. You meant the dress? Oh, my bad! I made it; it was a no sew dress that took me all of 2 minutes. :)     hey-psst! did i read your mind ↑ above? l

Julie with a bit of Bokeh

Image
This pic above ↑ was definitely my favorite that I took in this shoot. :) I didn't edit it. However, most of the other pictures are edited because I had to sharpen them and such. You might be asking, "But...how did you do it without editing???" Well, my friends (XD), it's one hack I found online. You take a laptop and full-screen a bokeh image. Go into a dark room and set a piece of aluminum foil on your keyboard. (I didn't waste foil, I actually just used a mirror type paper) Then place your mini doll, figurine, or knickknack on the paper and turn off the lights. Snap a few shots, and....voila! Stunning effects from an easy hack. :) It does take some sharpening work though because of the setting. Now you know my secret... But anyway. Here they are! Please let me know your fav in the comments down below! And as always, thanks a million for reading! P.s. Look out for next week's post...it's going to be awe

I love to listen to it, but I also play the piano, drums, recorder, starting the flute, and a little guitar. :)  I have two rabbits and I  did  have a fish-until recently. (Funny story...the fish (Sammy) once went for 2 weeks without food and he lived for over 3 years XD)  I'm a voracious reader. My spare time is filled with reading...no regrets! After reading numerous series, I consider myself a... Rivendell Elf, a Ravenclaw, an Apollo
